Celebrating 20 Years of ERCIS

On June 27 2024, we had the pleasure of celebrating a significant milestone in the history of ERCIS – our 20th anniversary. It was a joyful day filled with activities and memorable moments, held at the picturesque Schlossgarten Café in Münster.

One of the afternoon’s highlights was the speed dating session, where students had the unique opportunity to converse directly with ERCIS fellows from academia and industry. This session offered invaluable insights into career opportunities, with experienced professionals sharing their knowledge and advice.

Concurrently, the World Café allowed attendees to actively participate in shaping the future of our network. Here, participants engaged in dynamic discussions on various subject areas, collectively envisioning and contributing ideas for the further development of ERCIS.

Our afternoon of creativity continued with a design thinking workshop, where visions for the network’s future design took form. This collaborative forum brought forth innovative ideas and showcased the collective creativity that ERCIS fosters.

The academic spirit continued to thrive as we moved into pitches on various research topics in business informatics. Our brilliant researchers from Münster showcased their ongoing work and new initiatives, sparking interest and collaboration ideas among participants.

As evening approached, we transitioned to a festive celebration. This part of the day provided a fantastic opportunity for networking, reminiscing about the past, and looking forward to the future.
